How To Say ‘I Love You’ In Slovak

The way that you tell someone that you love them in Slovak depends on the intensity of your love. 

There are 2 different ways to say ‘I love you’.

Both of these phrases mean ‘I love you’ however they represent different intensities of love. 

The first phrase ‘lúbim ťa’ would be used with new partners, family or friends. 

The second phrase ‘milujem ťa’ would only be used in really serious romantic relationships and expresses a very strong love compared to the first phrase. You’d only really use this with a husband/wife or serious romantic partner.
