This is how you say it in a respectful way:

| I love you (if you’re female) | Mein aapse muhabat karti hoon |
| I love you (if you’re male) | Main aapse pyaar karta hu |
| I love you (if you’re female) | Main aapse pyaar karti hu |
You can use any of the above phrases to tell someone you love them. The first two are used more for someone you’ve loved for a long time or someone you’re truly devoted to. You can use this with your partner, family and friends.
The second two are used more with a new love, someone you’re infatuated with. You’d only really use this one with a romantic partner.
In informal situations, you can replace the word ‘aapse’ with ‘tumse’. This word means ‘you’ in English. Saying ‘aapse’ is more respectful.
