English is his first language as he was born and raised in the United Kingdom to British parents. He has spent his entire life living in English-speaking countries.

Harry does regularly do this at concerts all over the world. He learns a few phrases in the country’s language to impress his fans.

Additionally, one of his ex-girlfriends, Camille Rowe, who he dated from 2017 to 2018 is a French-American woman.

No doubt he was able to practice his French skills with her. She even features on one of his songs ‘Cherry’ which includes a segment spoken by Camille in French.

The song featured old voicemails that Camille left for Harry during their relationship. He got permission from Camille to include them in his song after their breakup.

Harry even has some French tattooed on him! He has the French words for ‘yes’ and ‘no’ tattooed on his knees.

This tells us that Harry clearly doesn’t speak French fluently yet.

We know that his ex-girlfriend, Camille, did leave him voicemails in French so he clearly understands a little bit of French even if he isn’t fully fluent.

Additionally, Harry was seen trying to speak French in an interview in 2017 however he could only manage a few words before saying ‘that’s all I have’.

They hit it off and played volleyball everyday and Harry learnt the German numbers during this time.

Harry has also shown an interest in learning Hebrew. He does have a tattoo of his sister’s name, Gemma, in Hebrew on his arm.

It has also been reported that Harry has made it his mission to learn to speak and write Hebrew but he is yet to do so publicly.

Additionally, as Harry has toured all over the world, his fans don’t always speak English. There are tons of videos of Harry saying phrases to his fans in foreign languages whilst on stage.

It seems that Harry loves to connect with his fans in non English speaking countries by saying a few phrases in their language at his concerts.
